I started listening to my iTunes library in alphabetical order by album title on September 20, 2009. It has taking some time to move through 5435 songs—iTunes says it would have taken 16.2 days if I’d listened around the clock. I am now in albums that start with Q (I only have 2 of those, 42 songs). I have already shed 1,054 songs, 1.6 days or 4.15GBs of music. I still have a little way to go, I’m less than half way through my orignal total.

It is very liberating to get rid of music I don’t listen to. It is also refreshing to see how few albums I have that I don’t enjoy listening to at least 51% of the songs.
