how long do you wait to ask a casual acquaintance on a date? story follows. wednesday i met some people from a local college. nice people. got some names and made quick friends. today they came in again and i had a chance to sit and talk with them for my lunch. really fun people. when they were leaving one of the girls asked if i was working tomorrow. i’m not and so i told her. but the girl i’m more in to became more real to me. she is very aesthetically pleasing. i made the judgement that she didn’t have a good personality. i was wrong. she carries one of those “poot” toys. the little putty stuff in a plastic jar that, when pressed into the container, makes a farting sound. i want to get to know her better. see what she’s like. but i don’t want to do it alone. i would love to hang out with the group and just have fun. but i am a chicken and don’t want to come across as a friendless nerd. i am going to take them to the pod show or something.
