songs from a rocker

you’re up with the sunrise and down when the works been done. with excellence industry, diligence naturally. i would like to be you, just for a few habit forming years. laziness cuts me like fine cutlery. i need a miracle, someone to help me, help myself. sweet Jesus i need you, forgive me this sin. not hookers or heroin, gambling or gin. it sounds so ridiculous but i just can’t lick this. that was once said by david bazan of pedro the lion. i’m not sure if i got the words right, but i think i did. (if you know otherwise, let me know). nothing much has happened this morning. except i got 8 e-mails, 4 of them being junk mail that i can’t figure out how to get away from, the other 4 weren’t monumental. i got one from a guy at a radio station in Missouri telling me he’d play the song i requested. i don’t even know that station, but a band i support is played once and a while there, so i was told to e-mail and get them more air-play. the second was from my ex-girlfriend. again, noting big, but this was the one i broke up with one year and seven months ago (to the day). the third was from josh’s ex-, so that was nice to hear from her. but the last, well, that wasn’t monumental, but it was something. i’ve been writing adam voith of tni books, just throwing ideas for things out. i have many, and nowhere to express them, so i figured i’d give it a shot. but, understandably, they have other stuff to do. oh well, i’ll figure something out. not much to write about this morning, just the most e-mails i’ve ever received in one night, and all of them being small either in size or content.

adam.
