i can only say thank you. . . i have never known such beauty until i knew and understood this album. all others pale in comparison i now can cope with what i’ve become. . . sitting in the dark (after listening and reading the album) soaking in ‘at the end of it all’ gave a whole new dimension to the wonderful music you have given unto me. . . now i can sit there and cry. . . happy with my quest for music. . . my next girlfriend will be gauged upon her response to listening to ‘at the end of it all’ in the dark, with head phones, alone. . . that is the measure of a girl. here and there i have understood the ramblings of jeff, but now i know them, they have soaked into my being and will not go away. see you again sometime. . . somewhere. . . beyond forever. . . and ever.

Adam,

You are a writer. I appreciate you and your less-than-
overbearing appreciation of music and the overall aesthetic experience. I
have to say, my finest Ninety Pound Wuss listening experiences have been in
the dark, alone, or with a true fan. Several of these experiences have been
with you. I thank you too. Come visit soon, and bring your lousy
girlfriend.

Adam,

I’ve been listening to the clash couple days. Really cool. I think I’ll
start buying it in the old LP format. I’ve been driving everyone in my door
crazy with my music that happens to be a lot louder than theirs. He, he.

Shan and I are doing well from what I can tell. She likes me which makes me
a little suspicious. Girls can only like me for the right reasons and I
don’t know how well she knows me. Anyway, I’ll bring her home for that
Death Cab show at the Meow, Meow. You can offer an opinion at that time.
Of course, Steph’s opinion is more valuable to me.

Let me know how work went. Janeen is driving a new Passot with Leather so I
suppose the Starbucks life isn’t such a terrible one.

I’m on my way!
