Same machine from “Dell Service Tech“, 3 months ago.

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.):
“Thank you for contacting Dell Gold Chat Support! My name is Matthew. Please give me a moment to retrieve your service tag info”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.):
“How can I assist you today Adam?”

Adam Wygle:
“where do I begin :). . . I’ll list the issues that have come up and let you handle how we tackle them”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “ok”

Adam Wygle: “the battery is telling me it’s going bad, the fan on the bottom of the machine stops spinning at times, when I pick up the laptop I hear a noise that resembles a light saber, and I can’t join it to the domain at work”

…

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “The fan on the system may not spin all the time, should kick in only when it needs to.”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “If the system is running hot, there may be a problem with the fan.”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “Ok as far as the light saber noise….is it the sound of the light saber extending or just when it is extended?”

Adam Wygle: “lol….it’s more like the sound when it is extend and waving around slowly”

Adam Wygle: “a bit quieter, though”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “Hmm….could be hard drive related or fan related..”

…

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “As far as that noise…if it only happens when you pick up the system, try tightening all the screws.”

Adam Wygle: “will do”

Agent (NV GTST Matthew K.): “Thank You for choosing Dell Gold Chat Support Adam Wygle. Have a Great Day!”
