A quiet field journal of digital archaeology. Reconstructing a life from 25+ years of digital traces, with occasional help from ChatGPT when things get weird or surprising.

She’s spilling orange and sun

As you can see by the time-stamp on my entry, it’s early/late, either one. I just got home from work and have nothing to do but sit here and type this and a letter to my friend elton (at this point in this post i’d like to give a shout out to elton, “hey.”). he’s in chicago or something like that, i know it’s somewhere i’ve never been. i also know that he’s somewhere near a moped fleet and needs to get in touch with them and buy a damn moped. now.

i built a fence today. it’s crooked, but keeps the dog on our side of it. i also ran out of gas on my moped, but had the reserve tank to fall back on. i am also drinking budwiser, which i don’t recommend to anyone who wanders past this and reads it. what i do recommend is listening to an album you loved 3-5 years ago. me? i’m listening to some ninety pound wuss (yes, jeff’s old stuff), and am thoroughly enjoying it.

buy a damn moped. now.
