A quiet field journal of digital archaeology. Reconstructing a life from 25+ years of digital traces, with occasional help from ChatGPT when things get weird or surprising.

when i lived at the beach i spent a lot of time reading, writing and just sitting around thinking. now, home, with television, computer, and a boy with little self control. i haven’t sat and read for a long period of time in a long period of time. i haven’t written much of anything in the last few months. i’m not sure why, maybe lack of inspiration, maybe i’ve depleted my writing ability. since i haven’t had much for you to read. here’s a list of some older stories you can re-read if you likei had too much time on my hands last november.
