i was about to head to sleep when i figured i needed to fill you in on my life right now. the funny thing is, as i sat and typed that first sentence, i realized that our relationship right now is based on once or twice a week (sure, three times) emails that putty up the holes. right now, i’ve left a few holes, not ones that will harm anything, just ones that have built up and are on my mind. we’ve been going through a lot of changes at work, we lost two managers last month and just got a new one a week ago. we’ve hired three new people, two i’ve met, one i’ve worked with, and one is a female and, supposedly, quite the eye catcher. which brings me to my next subject, laura. when i first started working in october, this girl would come in once in a while with a nice fur coat, nice pants, and shoes on. from the get go i was completly intrigued, reason; red hair, great smile, amazing speaking voice. (yeah, her voice is enchanting, much like i imagine homer’s hearing of the sirens.) over the past few months i’ve met her, had a chance to talk with her and tried to get her a job. as of now, we’re on a first name basis, but we are both leaving in under 2 months. she’s going to new york, and i am coming up to seattle. i’d ask her out, but what is that when i’m 20 and she’s 19? maybe a play will do. as i typed those last few lines, i decided to read my archives and see where the last 3/4 year has lead me. i like where i am, and where i am going. the plaster is smooth once again.
