the interesting part about the show on saturday was the people that were there. the most broad types of people came out to the middle of nowhere to here five guys from the uk sing. from the hardcore punks to the hippies to the rockers to the, excuse the term, jock/preppy kids. what was more interesting than the people that were there, were the people josh and i didn’t see that we knew were going to be there. you may think that this isn’t interesting because of the amount of people there. there were two groups of people that we knew there, those that we saw and didn’t really care about seeing because we see them everyday, and those we didn’t see and don’t see except once a year. we saw jeff “suffering” betger, david bazan, and shaun from the deadlines. people we didn’t see included elton kelly, paul (josh’s college roommate), and nicole and jessica. i think i’ve said enough about the one day. but so much happened it’s taken me a few days to organize my thoughts into cohesive sentences.
