Wygle Wide Web

A quiet field journal of digital archaeology. Reconstructing a life from 25+ years of digital traces, with occasional help from ChatGPT when things get weird or surprising.

the last few weeks i’ve spent doing nothing. taking pictures, reading books, buying/listening to music, and working. i’ve been thinking a lot, trying to rehash the last few years of my life. summer has brought a handful of old friends back into my occasional life. i’ve spent a few hours driving, just thinking to myself. what have i come to? nothing but an empty take of gas. i’m in the process of living, and the parts where i can’t figure out what that is, well, those are the parts when i’m doing the best at it.
