A quiet field journal of digital archaeology. Reconstructing a life from 25+ years of digital traces, with occasional help from ChatGPT when things get weird or surprising.

we know how it is

this last fortnight has been crazy for me. the first half i spent trying to figure out how to go to my sister’s graduation, then the second i just worked myself to death. i’ve been listening a lot, reading a little, and surfing my fare share. weezer has some audio clips available and some video (that’s what the picture is up yonder). i’ve also had burn craze ever since i bought my cd burner. i went to the local library and checked out a few cd’s and have been burning like mad. my collection is growing by leaps and bounds. i will, from now on, buy records and check out cd’s or borrow them from friends. i will still buy some cd’s that i can’t check out for a few reasons, one being the rarity, two being my obsession with the whole buying and owning the cd as it was sold.
