the fame syndrome

people want to meet stars so they will get recognized. that’s why i do. even if they aren’t stars, just little people that could somehow get me recognized would be nice. i’m on the tooth and nail street team, and get to see shows and stuff free. this thursday i am seeing a whole bunch of people, four bands to be exact. t&n is located in Seattle, just north of my portland home. the girl who is heading up the team emailed me and said that she is going to be at the show here in town. my first reaction was, ‘good, maybe i can get backstage’ and why? i like the music, i don’t really know it too well though. but the fact of meeting someone who has connections is great.

i also found a postcard on the island today. it was addressed to my sister. who is a high school actor. it said
LA Casting Director Jennifer Miller wants to meet you.

Jennifer is searching for new faces interested in appearing in TV, FILMS & COMMERCIALS and will be in town

this Sunday at 12:00 (noon) to hold a FREE screening.

she wants people from 3 to 25, which is me. she’s done snapple commercial, she helped with the grinch, and her tv shows include every pop culture show around today. (Dharma & Greg, Friends, Norm, Star Trek, 90210, Drew Carey, etc.) one problem, i don’t know if it’s this sunday or two days ago. but i’ll talk to my sister and see if she wants to go to try out. it would be fun. with my luck, nothing.

adam.
