a good rock ‘n’ roll day

thursday was a good day. after seven days of work. i rocked all day. i slept in. then ran some errands and bought tapes. then in the evening i found josh at our preset point off meeting and drove singing into portland to purchase music. first stop was everyday music on burnside. i found a roadside/frodus split ep for $5. diary by sunny day real estate on vinyl. and the andy warhol velvet underground reissued vinyl. then, thinking the show started at 8, we drove to the show. got there and found kenny. show’s not till nine. drive to everyday music on sandy. find a clash reissued album. buy it. rock to the show and enjoy music. after the show everyone left. so i stayed and helped the guys load up. got a shirt/patches/stickers/cd and made some passing friends. next time they come through they were promised cookies.
