bubble burst

yesterday at work i stepped out of my personal comfort zone. i’ve never been able to approach a girl and start a conversation. but yesterday i did. i asked a couple girls to come to the show on friday. they were going to seaside for a friends birthday. then i told them about the show tonight. and they said they’d be there. they won’t. not with my luck. but i hope they come so i can feel better about walking up to a girl like that. i wonder how i’ll be when i turn twenty-one hanging out in bars. buying drinks for girls. i won’t be any better at it.
