today was an exhausting day. i got up at eight. fine. i was asleep by midnight. left for work at 8:30. got there and relaxed with a nice hot cup of coffee before we had to leave for our corporate meeting at 9 to be there by 9:45. of course we didn’t leave work until 9:25 but we made it in time. the meeting was actually fun. not rows and rows of chairs with some guy we don’t know telling us about the upcoming stress of the holiday season. but small groups with fun games. but before we left work for the meeting sean came in sick as a dog to see if someone would cover his shift tonight. i said sure. i’d cover this shift if he traded me sunday shifts. mine being the opening. his, the mid-day. the only reason i was so harsh is i would work all day if i took his today. so i took it. from 9am to 11:30pm all i did was serve coffee. prepare coffee. ring up coffee. learn about coffee. long day and now i’m tired. at least i didn’t have to bore myself with election mumbo-jumbo
