i have always thought that the best way to propose is not the same old way every one else has. . . i don’t want to know that she’ll say yes, but i want to hold her hand for the first time after many years of friendship, and say. . . you know, we’ve known each other for 7 years and been friends for 95% of that time. . . let’s do the only obvious thing and get hitched. . . it makes sense to me that friends who have lots in common are better than lovers who only know each other in a physical way. . . but my ideas of relationships are off some. . . right now, my birthday, i don’t want any type of anything. . . but i have some craving for just a simple kiss. . . maybe a bit longer, but just something nice and easy. . . and not too meaningless. . . maybe someday i’ll be known for my thoughts, maybe someday i’ll know my thoughts. . .
